Location United Kingdom Hampshire Close to Fareham (between Southampton & Portsmouth on the south coast) | +1 Yup, isn't that what all the buttons and twiddly knobs are for? Something to play with when you start to dry up on a shoot and can't for the life of you figure out the 56th way to lean up against a tree?! f4.8 for me... although my last outdoor shoot seems to have been around the 7-1 to 9 range. f4.8 seems a curious number to be favourite . tough crowd in here tonight too |

Location United Kingdom Tyne and Wear Hebburn | I thought this was going to be about food stops!! Seriously disappointed! i really wish that too. so much abuse for what i thought would be such an innocuous little question. for the record, to all you people who take yourselves waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too seriously, no, it wasn't a serious question. it was a bit of fun. seemingly it's ok to ask, 'who has the best breasts/bum/stomach on purestorm' but woe betide anyone who tries to fool around with the sanctity of photographic technicalities... somebody a few posts back suggested a 'top 10 ISOs' thread. ok, for the record, mine is ISO 200. Gives an extra stop compared to ISO 100, with no real loss of image quality. win, win. |

Location United Kingdom London London | I treated it as a serious question because I happen to like discussing technical stuff somettimes, even when the context seems to make it look like there can't be a serious answer. This is how I am, and it makes me feel good. ::shrug:: |

Location United Kingdom London London | For F's sake.......... F 1000000000000004 You can get the entire universe in focus That's only part of the equation. You also have to have a shutter speed of at least 13.5 billion years if you want to get the whole of spacetime (and not just space). |
