| andybramahphotograph Photographer | quote from kimphot- 1 & 2 are severley lacking contrast. All are on the light side. 1 has an unnecesary hot spot on the shoulder and hip. As a starting point open each file, duplicate the background layer, change the blend mode to Multiply on the top layer than whack as "S" curve on them. Density can be adjusted by transparency and the amount of contrast by varying the "S" curve. Posing and composition are fine, although perhaps 1 model is too low, take 10% off the top and add it to the bottom. when your photography comes anywhere near the standard of these three pictures your opinions would be valid. i would look closer to home before passing comments like that. these three pictures are very considered and executed pictures. regards-andy bramah. www.photographerpreston.com |

| FrancescaAnne Model Location United Kingdom London Welwyn Garden City | Number 1 is my favourite although I do like them all. Number 2 I love and whilst I agree about the window looking a little too new, it's still a gorgeous shot and Holly is a modern girl with a look from an "olde yolde" time, I reckon you can still get away with it, you could argue it gives it a narrative of sorts |

| Pluckphotography Photographer Location United Kingdom Essex Chelmsford | when your photography comes anywhere near the standard of these three pictures your opinions would be valid. I'm going to partly disagree on this, Andy. The ability of another photographer doesnt necessarily make their opinion invalid! The OP asked for feedback, and we all know its very easy to pick holes in a pic when you're sitting comfortably in front of your monitor. Its much more difficult to take that considered a view when the picture is being taken. So, definitely agree these are all great shots, but for me, the inclusion of tungsten lights (or at least yellow lights) inside the room has caused a distraction. Picture 1 is the only one where this is a big problem though. The natural light works very nicely, so maybe a reflector or a well softened hint of flash would have worked better than the tungsten light. Nice shots though. |

All three of the shots were taken with natural available light only. The tints you see were my particular choice of processing. The original 'as shot' files can be seen here : ![]() ![]() ![]() Maybe the processing was over the top or not needed but they are what I wanted them to be and what I think the images called for. However, I'm very aware that this is a very subjective area and am happy to listen to opinions and critisisms, after all that's why I posted them. Rob |

| profilepictures Photographer Location United Kingdom Suffolk Bury St Edmunds | I like them all but No.2 is best, maybe just clone the bottom ledge from the window using the vertical information outside so It looks like a deeper single pane and frame, that'd remove the signature UPVC look I think? |
