| Hugh Photographer | I get seasick very easily. Travel by ferry a lot. Have a light, plain snack just before you board, take the pill as soon as you get on board, find somewhere to lie down (cabin ideally, otherwise take a sleeping bag and find a quiet corner of the boat). You should have no problems. The pills are not much use if you wait until you feel sick to take them. |

| JennyWren Model Location United Kingdom Dorset Shaftesbury | I get seasick, especially down in the bowels of the boat. I try to stay on deck so I can see the movement of the boat as well as feel it/sense it. Good luck! | |

| Hugh Photographer | Do you get carsick? If you do, you may get seasick. If you don't, you probably won't. |

| Andy_B Photographer Location United Kingdom London London | i guess its the fear of the unknown Supposedly your inner ear is what senses which way up you are. All the motion of the ship disorientates this, and makes you feel sick. I'm usually OK, but I have felt a little off in the past. If you manage to lie down and sleep you can usually avoid it. Alternatively, it's supposed to help if you get yourself a window seat and look out... since seeing the horizon stops you from feeling so disorientated. There's no shortage of fresh air at sea either, so going outside to have a bit of a breather may be a good idea (well, if it's not too stormy!!). |
