| mph Photographer Location United Kingdom Cheshire Crewe | Thanks - Nice try! It seems therefore, that my maths are little beter than your cartography wink - Although at least my failings are honest ones hhmmmm? sad I have no problem with maps but never claimed to be a cartographer - do stick to simple words rather than longer inaccurate and inappropriate ones. You still embarrassed about not knowing where the Home Counties are? |

| stolenfaces Photographer Location United Kingdom London West London | Get your stories straight boys! Do you think that people are generally better off today than they were on the day Cameron moved into No. 10. The concept of the 'average voter' is a bit difficult to grasp, average in what way; are they a man or a woman, are they young or old; are the on an average wage...... |

| mph Photographer Location United Kingdom Cheshire Crewe | More nice tries than Don Quixote! But failed again -wink My time frame was since 2007 - Try to keep you finger off the trigger - You tend to shoot your foot off! - And you might need the NHS - Got a big credit card? laugh Tony said "Your average voter is now much worse off in real terms than they were in 1997" You quoted him and said "Thanks to the Global Banking Crises and the failures of corporatism yes" Stolenfaces quoted him and said "Technically that almost certainly isn't true" (i.e. "no") All the comments were about the same time frame - introducing "since 2007" after the event smacks somewhat of desperation - you would make an excellent left wing politician though - never let the fact get in the way of a good point. Have you read 1984 perhaps? Failed again - I don't think so! Does Don Quixote play for Scotland - they could do with some nice tries. |

Probably not - but probably better off than they would have been had Brown continued to screw the country. But it was the disparity between the views of our "opposition" I was commenting on - damned hard to argue when you don't even agree with each other - like trying to shoot a moving target - And when jivago introduces a new target (where the hell did he say he was talking about "since 2007"?) after you have fired is even harder! |

Now I would like to ask:- What is the difference between a right wing apologist from Crewe and a fictional deluded old man in a book by Miguel Cervantes? - Answer:- 'One of them is called Don Quixote' Goodnight MPH |

| mattharper Photographer Location United Kingdom Devon Paignton | Do you think that people are generally better off today than they were on the day Cameron moved into No. 10. The concept of the 'average voter' is a bit difficult to grasp, average in what way; are they a man or a woman, are they young or old; are the on an average wage...... You are beyond belief to put that in a comment in public. So, no one is better off then when Cameron came in? Well, what a shock, no one saw that coming, did they? Did you expect or even hope to be better off after the last election? Sorry, too many questions for someone that is dumb enough to post the bit I quoted. Prior to the last election, anyone who didn't know we were going to be worse off shouldn't have been allowed to vote as it shows they haven't a clue what they are voting for. It was some time before the last election that we all know very hard times lay ahead, even the economic rapist who caused part of it. The last election was all about cuts, no matter who got in, the cuts would have to have been made. The trouble is, some idiots think borrowing more is how to cut expenditure. Maybe in history, when we had a manufacturing base, it would have worked to some degree, but in the face of a thousand times more global competition and global meltdown, increasing debt at a higher rate than this lot have done, would be suicidal. Never mind what you think, or what crap you spout about Tory this and that, business leaders are the ones who really know what is needed, because if they prosper, we all do. If they don't, we don't. Call it capitalism or any name you like, it is all that is available and therefore, the only cure is for it to succeed. Sorry, I waffled, my point was really to ask you if you expected us and the country to be better off since the last election. |

I expect he didn't read the assersion properly and assumed that Tony had said something more sensible than what he had actually written. On a more general point, there is no reason why all people that disagree with you should agree with each other, any more than I would assume that you and Matt Harper are at one just because I diagree with both of you and you both live in the provinces. |
