| grahamsphotography Photographer Location United Kingdom West Sussex Chichester | Had 3 of them years ago, but transfered to Mamiya 645 for the interchangeable backs, also found that Mamiya 645 lenses to be sharper and of course kits were much lighter. The 3 Mamiya kits I had would have been over £20,000 at todays money, but them were the days when a jobbing photographer could earn a good wedge. |

| LaurenceJPower Photographer Location United Kingdom Surrey Esher | Mine was stolen but I did love it, only problem, version 2 (mirror up version) was not as robust as it looked. | |

| Hugh Photographer Location United Kingdom Dyfed Aberystwyth | I've just started using mine again - for the 105mm/2.4 used wide open. Tried to get the same effect using the Canon 50/1.4 and failed. Certainly get a different response from the model. Bought the daughter a Mamiya 645, prism and standard lens for Uni work - £200 - lovely little machine. |

| Photoflash Photographer Location United Kingdom Hertfordshire Watford | Had a couple years ago but changing films was far too slow, even with an assistant reloading one while I used one. I upgraded to a RB67 with 6x8 backs, never regretted it. I prefer the 6x8 format anyway, and flash synch at all speeds as I almost always use fill in flash. The flash synch speed on the Pentax is only 1/30th |

| wilsonc Photographer Location United Kingdom Merseyside Liverpool | Been using a Pentax 67II last couple shoots, love the 105mm. Also the 1/30 sync speed didn't seem to be too much of a problem in the studio. Although I can see it being useless outside the studio when trying to use fill flash. I took this last week at 1/30th handheld on the 105mm. http://www.karkwai.talktalk.net/darling/D199c---20120415---01---Delta-100,-R09.jpg Agree about changing film, it takes me a couple of minutes to do it, and you have to do it quite often as you only get 10 shots. |

| magpie1 Photographer Location United Kingdom Tyne and Wear Newcastle | Get quite nostalgic about the 'old' 67. Very odd camera in some ways, heavy, shutter and mirror clack that made ripples on ponds, but wide angle lenses were among the best of their day, especially, in my experience the 45 mm. The 165mm and 135 macro were incredibly sharp and punchy, also with shutter in body the Pentax MF lenses had larger apertures, than most comparable systems. Film loading was always, to me, a bit of a chancy business, one had to really concentrate on getting the film lined up properly and carefully ensure the initial take up was tight, otherwise a very slack wind ensued. I took a shot with the Pentax 67 that won an Ilford B+W award (1st) so it always has a special status for me-and I still have the negative. |

| arkady001 Photographer Location Europe Germany Iserlohn | I still have mine - totally mint with the wood-grip and photomic head plus three lenses... Agree about the film-changing: I preferred the 'Blad for it's speed (assuming you had a half-dozen backs pre-loaded...lol) but preferred the 6x7 format... I don't think it's had film put through it in over ten years... |
