| MightyWhite Photographer  Location United Kingdom Berkshire Ascot | Short answer is "Yes". But on the other hand one must ask why? And how you are defining a cancellation. I have just had a model cancel a shoot for tomorrow that we have had arranged for months (technically she hasn't actually cancelled - she sent a message making all sorts of excuses without actually saying she wanted to cancel, but then hasn't responded to my reply so I'm assuming the shoot is off!!!) but that is the first one I have had cancel within 24 hours for ages (I am struggling to remember the last one!). Yes I've had lots who stop replying a week before the shoot, who keep wanting to move the date etc, who reply enthusiastically to begin with, but then their responses become slower and slower etc, etc. But they usually only get a couple of chances and then I'll refuse to work with them. You seem to do alot of shoots (all TFCD??) - and 4 shoots in 4 days is probably more than most manage from here. Maybe go for the models who are more reliable and will turn up, but do less shoots is an obvious suggestion? l |

I generally explain I'll phone or text before leaving for the shoot. It seems to work, although I've had one that turned up and declared she hadn't been home from clubbing (it was 9am) and could we try for the following weekend. There's only one answer to that. |

e. I am sick and tired of organising myself to fit around other peoples diaries, drag my kit up and down stairs, cart it half way across the country at weekends only to be messed around at short notice. I am really not sure I can be arsed anymore.
