| Violet_Ecstasy Model Location United Kingdom West Midlands West Midlands | Be careful if the lamps are 1000w as advertised, as my guess is the softboxes are going to melt. I sell 800w units, where the softboxes are fireproof and these alone will cost 10 times this kit.. they are the low energy equivalent. MaHOOsive bulbs. |

| RedChecker Photographer Location United Kingdom Buckinghamshire Stoke Mandeville | they are the low energy equivalent. If that's the case it may be worth noting that some cameras (esp. slightly older ones) can have trouble focussing correctly under flourescent lighting that operates at 'normal' frequencies. |

| MattButlerPhoto Photographer Location United Kingdom West Yorkshire Bradford | i got mine the other day. they seem fine thus far! time will tell on longevity. but for £40 you cant really argue too much. I am going to use them for short home shoots and back ups for my main lights. |

| Violet_Ecstasy Model Location United Kingdom West Midlands West Midlands | For the people who bought these lights; how are we getting on with them? One of the bulbs dropped out of the (threaded bit) yesterday. Only used them a few times, I was moving it. My partner fixed it kind of but the threading bit had come out. 2nd one blew this evening but I think that was a problem with the electrical socket. It had a crack in it and was a bit brown, we didn't notice it before. |

| grahamsphotography Photographer Location United Kingdom West Sussex Chichester | Great for the money, used mine a couple of times, no problem you just have to be carefull with the massive bulbs and not overtighten them. The stands are pathetic though, but exactly the same as you get with all cheap lights and flash heads. |
