| RocketMan Photographer This member has been suspended | Hi All Purchased genuine LR3 installed to Win7 pc worked fine yesterday Now all I am getting is error message : Application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an usual way . I have removed the programme via Windows and via the adobe disc and still the error message shows . Installed fours times this evening . slightly , rather , simply annoying .... if you know what I mean .... Any really help would be really appreciated, to over come the situation and get this program work . Thanks Paul |

| Keltica Photographer Location United Kingdom Middlesex Twickenham | Although you may have unistalled it, the Cat will still be there but I'm not suggesting that is the problem, there is a myriad of other things that could cause this, some might be to do with your envioronment on Win7 on your PC, what you have downloaded, what you have updated etc. Initally, I would look to roll back to a previous point and reinstall and try again but have a look at http://thelightroomlab.com/ where there is an interesting way of setting up LR and not allowing LR to put the cat in My Documents. An email to Adobe would help too. |

| ConPhot Photographer Location United Kingdom Buckinghamshire Olney | I wouldn't be so sure that the issue is linked directly to LR3. I've used it on windows machines through Vista and 7 and never had an issue...ever. I did find this.."Runtime errors can occur if you are running two software programs that are not compatible, if your computer has memory problems, or if the computer has been infected with malicious software" As I've never had an issue I can't think of a program that might cause problems, but I never install any old program even just to try it out, but I do run it on 4 machines and found it to be very stable. |
