| jetbrown Photographer Location United Kingdom West Yorkshire Huddersfield | If you have a 2.8 already than this is probably a very good buy. I borrowed one a few weeks ago after damaging my Sigma 24-70 F2.8, and I was disappointed with the low lighting results. However as a general lens, it is great and I have one on my shopping list!!! |

| Simon_P Photographer Location United Kingdom Lothian Livingston, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perth | Probably my most used lens, no complaints with it for what it is intended for. | |

| Gerry99111 Photographer Location United Kingdom Surrey Guildford | Its my primary landscape lens [on full frame] and is perfect for that for everything except scenes involving movement where I want to shoot wide as I tend to go wide with panoramas. It has been dropped, rained on, frozen and its still going strong. I dont use it for model photography - full frame in the studio, the sharpest, and relatively cheap is the 70 - 200 mm F4L. For all outdoor work and natural light, I use fast primes. I have very little use for zooms otherwise. But for studio work, its probably the right focal length range for a crop frame camera |

| andybramahphotograph Photographer | The 24-105 is a good every day lens for a working photographer, but just watch out for barrel distortion at the wide end. Easily fixable but i also use the 24-70 f2.8 to avoid that problem with straight lines. The 24-105 is a great lens in terms of what you get for your money. regards-Andy Bramah. www.photographerpreston.com |

| MikeDanby Photographer Location United Kingdom East Yorkshire Newport | Well, ditto to a lot of the above with the 24-105, I use mine with an APSC camera, I also have a 16-35 and a 70-200, but the 24-105 stays on most of the time, but to be quite frank i've never regretted buying it and you'd probably have to kill me to get it off me. Mike. |

| Paul_Tooth Photographer Location United Kingdom Kent | Have to agree with everyone above, is a fantastic lens for the money and pretty much all of my portfolio has been shot with it on a 7D. Only really change it for sports and when I am working in low/natural light and need a wider aperture or narrower depth of field. Good luck with convincing she who must be obeyed... |
