| theperfectgentleman Photographer Location United Kingdom Essex Chelmsford | Hi I have just read this as the main body of a models write up. "I Also have a model release form that the photographer will need to sign for the protection of the pictures that states i can use them for my portfolio and promotions and the photographer can use them but as stated before, not in any adult materials or to sell. So if you are happy with the criteria by which i have said before i will be happy to work with you... Would you work with this model and why? |

| Scarecrow Photographer Location United Kingdom Kent Faversham | If it was for a TFP shoot possibly, but not if the model wanted paying for the shoot. I don't mind the 'not to be used for adult' clause, as I don't shoot adult or have any contacts in that field, but I wouldn't be happy with the stipulation that I couldn't sell them. |

| mgphotomedia Photographer | She might be a little naive and perhaps disaffected by unsatisfactory outcomes from shoots with other photographers but that wouldn't prevent me from working with her - and I would be pretty confident she'd agree to my terms too. |

| Gerry99111 Photographer Location United Kingdom Surrey Guildford | Depends entirely on what the model has to offer the shoot. I do find lifting sections from portfolios and putting them up for scrutiny by the masses pretty insensitive. The model may be quite upset at this - and I am not sure she has done anything even remotely wrong or naive as we do not know anything else, such as what she looks like, what she is happy to shoot and what the terms would be. All essential ingredients to form an honest opinion. I also notice that models in the main, dont do this to photographers on forums. |

| fizzy Model Location United Kingdom Tyne and Wear Newcastle upon Tyne | She's laying out her terms and protecting herself in an honest and perfectly reasonable manner. I can't see why anyone would find that in any way worthy of a thread that seems to have only been posted to shine a spotlight on her for public ridicule. | |

| Chrissie_Red Model Location United Kingdom Tayside Perth/Coupar Angus | If I thought someone was intentionally shooting nude images of me to sell onto adult websites I wouldn't be best pleased either. Although I don't exactly shoot anything a pervert couldn't see for free anywhere else knowing I have to be honest when I started I did ask someone to change their release to state that the images will not be sold to any websites or media which would cause embarrassment to myself. |

| skymouse Photographer Location United Kingdom London London | "I Also have a model release form that the photographer will need to sign for the protection of the pictures that states i can use them for my portfolio and promotions and the photographer can use them but as stated before, not in any adult materials or to sell. So if you are happy with the criteria by which i have said before i will be happy to work with you... Would you work with this model and why? Setting aside her technical error of calling it a "model relase form", in most cases it would be unsuitable for me as the only benefit I usually get from a shoot is content for my employer to sell or licence. So when I come back to the office in this case, I'd be a bit like Jack and the Bean Stalk. On the other hand, I would say "never say never", and I can envisage situations in which it might be a worthwhile arrangement with the right model, even if it hasn't cropped up for me until now. |
