The OP is not only talking right out of his arse, but sending curt and  ty emails like this to newbies or indeed any model is bang out of order.I also cannot comprehend why it has not sunk in yet that it is wrong to provide unsolicited critique on someones port - and you did this and because you were insensitive enough to lazily copy and paste her port, you gave the means to identify her through google. This also ignores that you couldnt care two hoots about her feelings by either posting her port notes and the subsequent lynching you were hoping for. And dont try and convince us you just wanted a debate - your email to her has given away your real misguided vitriol. Perfect Gentleman my arse |

| skymouse Photographer  Location United Kingdom London London | Playing Devil's Advocate here, the model is the only person to date to introduce private correspondence into this thread. I posted before then (when it was still a generic question about whether we would work with a model in those circumstances) and I found the original post an interesting (and non-personal) question to add my own opinion to, which I did. I also found the other personal opinions interesting. I find it interesting to learn about other people's approach to their work and their creative activities. I believe in life every person has something I can learn from. So while I agree that, now that the model has added her personal identity and private message into the mix, the debate is broken as far as a discussion about our various attitudes to working under different kinds of agreements goes, I will continue to look out for and enjoy future discussions that look at such things. By the way, no criticism meant here to any person. Internet threads are to human debate and intellectual progress what dead reckonning is to navigation. |

It would have been far more civil to have said "I saw something along the lines of......" and re-write so it was not a copy and paste. There has been a number of threads started by photographers in the past that are "ripping into" newbies and to be honest, this looks like another one. Nothing good comes of this and the real question behind the "picking on model" approach gets lost. |
