| HowardJ Photographer Location United Kingdom Surrey | Do you have private medical insurance yourself or through your partner? If you do use it to get fast access to a skin specialist. Whenever I used it's amazingly fast. They jump queues of NHS patients to get access to equipment, etc. |

| Dave@studio99 Photographer Location United Kingdom Lancashire DARWEN | My dad had a problem with blisters on the soles of his feet many years ago, after being referred to a Dermatologist, the cause of them was traced to scented soap and talcum powder - so he stopped using the Mycil powder on his feet and switched to Wright's coal tar soap, and they cleared up soon afterwards - hope this helps. |

| HowardJ Photographer Location United Kingdom Surrey | Could well be an allergy. when you're hot you sweat more which might cause whatever you're allergic to come into more contact with you. Personally I get skin rashes if I use biological soap powder when washing my clothes. The rashes generally happen where the clothes touch my skin more e.g. at joints. I now use a non-biological soap powder and have no problems. The doctor should be able to send you to someone who could give you an allergy test for everyday items. in the meantime if it is an allergy something like an anti-histamine ( like Piriton you can get at any chemist without a prescription ) should calm down the reaction and it might help you identify that it as allergy and not something else. They've worked for me in the past. it does sound strange that it's spreading upwards though. it sounds more like some get of infection which is spreading. I'm assuming you've Googled for information about similar conditions including pictures of the symptoms. it might be worth asking your doctor about allergy clinics at the local hospital as they seem to be more proactive about managing allergies now. one of my nieces turns out to be allergic to cheese even though she loves pizza which is a slight problem. cut pizza out of her diet and her health problem cleared up. |
