| DeeElegia Model Location United Kingdom Lancashire Blackpool, MCR & London | You really want a referral for a dermatologist. Ex-wife went through a course of tests on skin, and traced it to tumble fresh +1 I had a massive allergic reaction to something a few years ago, which sounds exactly the same as yours. I still have no idea what it was I reacted to but I had the rash and blisters on my face, insides of my legs and arms, on my tummy and all over my neck. It lasted for around 6 weeks and no-one could seem to figure out what caused it. In the end I went to one of those Chinese doctor places you see in the mall. They gave me some kind of tea to drink 3 times a day, and it was the only thing that worked. I'm allergic to lots of things including washing powders, lavender, certain types of carpet and linen materials. But I have no idea what it was behind that allergic reaction. I only hope I never come into contact with it again. I feel for you, I always freak out if I get even a slight tickle on my neck because it reminds me of that experience. I would hound the doctor for referral to a dermatologist. Maybe even try Holland & Barretts to check if they're doing those free skin allergy tests. |

| Andy_B Photographer Location United Kingdom London London | Could well be something much more long-term like psoriasis (which doesn't have a quick or easy remedy). Get referred to a skin specialist. |

Some of them contain huge quantities of dangerous drugs like steroids - which will sort out eczema but with possibly serious side effects. Just because stuff is herbal does not make it safe. Dermatologist is the way to go if the doctor cannot find any underlying cause. |

| rogerholt Photographer Location United Kingdom Dorset wareham | Hi Emma ,I am not a doctor ,but this does sound like psoriasis ,which has several variants . Tha main cause is lack of vitamin D .Lack of sunshine , It lasts for 8 weeks and then clears up . There are treatments ,but a good diagnosis is the best answer . Best wishes .
