| gerryquiff Photographer Location United Kingdom Lanarkshire Bonnie Scotland | I'm delighted with my A700, and would probably only upgade to a A77 unless I was going full frame to A850 or A900. Here's a great Flickr group with all the info you'll need. http://www.flickr.com/groups/sony-dslr/discuss/ |

| mantisphoto Photographer Location United Kingdom Birmingham | For low light, the A580 will be your best bet, although discontinued, it is probably Sony's best aps-c sensor for high ISO performance. you could get away with higher ISO so might be ok with the f/3.5. I have the A580 and A77, and while I rate both, they are entirely different beasts. The A77 is generall better for things like sports etc, but for low light the A580 is better. It really depends on the things you will be using it for. I would NOT get the A55, as it has the first generation EVF which is slow and laggy. The A65 and A77 (and newer A57 i believe) have the second generation which performs much better, and the EVF effects can be turned off so you dont encounter problems using external flash with it (almost black viewfinder when using external flash eg in studio) |

| ph_oto Photographer Location United Kingdom South Yorkshire Barnsley | My main Sony is the A700 and I would definitely buy another if the need arose. | |
