| frankpht Photographer Location United Kingdom London | I looked through a copy of Amateur Photographer today. Park Cameras always have an ad in there. I seen the ad and yes Lightroom is advertised. Selling at crazy price due to taken from kit not upgradeable or words to that effect. Seems fair enough but I checked the web page and no mention of the removed from kit part. It has to be asked if LR is removed from the kit camera or whatever kit it is removed from. Does the buyer know that LR was part of the kit but it's been sold as separate. |

| saracenhousestudio Studio Location United Kingdom Buckinghamshire Milton Keynes | You have the right under distance selling regulations to return the item for a full refund. I would also suggest that as the item was significantly different from the version on their website (do take a screen capture of the page on the site), you'd also be entitled to claim any costs to return it to them too. My personal view on the item on the site is that it is a full and boxed retail version of the software, which you would also expect to be able to upgrade in the normal way. It is also likely that they would be in breach of any agreement they might have with Adobe to sell this product, so I can't imagine that they would want to create a stink about it as they should be in fear a far greater potential threat from Adobe (in my opinion of course). |
