You're a young pretty girl,and I think the cutesy,girl next door look would work better for you! Ditch the full on glamour, the serious facial expressions! Think fun and cute and smile more! Embrace your age, your hair colour at the mo does look a little harsh and makes you look a little older ,a softer blonde would work well for you! There is a lot of scope for the cutesy young girl next door look which I think potentially you could excel at! It takes time with the facial expressions,it took me a couple of years to grasp it,practising in front of the mirror helps. Good luck xx |

| sammy1990 Model  Location United Kingdom Tyne and Wear stockton on tees | yeh i see what you mean , i dont really want to lean towards the glamour side of things , as i dont do topless/nudes i dont feel i can give it my all if i dont feel comfortable , this may in time ,only time will tell i may feel diff in 2 months/1 years time , i really concentrate on my fashion looks and lingerie ,,also the colour im going for is much more natural and not as bright so really looking forweard to the change x! also i have a brace which make it hard as i feel very on edge about this incase the tog doesnt like it , or how it looks in photos so dont also feel i can let go and just smile smile smile,i know there not the best of things , a big shiny metal brace , but in the long run itll be for the best only another 6 months of it on ! woo |

Maybe a bit more of a natural look if your staying blonde. Profile picture maybe one a bit more model and a little less face book. The Brace, well i see the concern but think it's more a lack of confidence through a lack of direction. Talk to the photographer as to what they want, photoshop hides a multitude of sins. Remember, your portfolio should show you skills as a model, how you look at your chosen levels and what you bring to the table as it were. its not a showcase for how good the photographer is. |

I think you'll find that once you've had them off, you'll make big progress with your port as thats when your confidence will shine through and you're able to not worry about how your smile looks. Thats what happened with me anyway. By all means carry on shooting, as its good practise and you can still work on your poses. Although I think once you've had them off, thats when you'll have taken the next step up in your port. You definitely have potential and think you're capable of getting some really good shots. x |
