| photostore Photographer  Location United Kingdom Fife fife /tayside/lothian, scotland | Ok, so i had a shoot arranged for 12 o clock today, in my run up to shoot and in coversations i made it clear the shoot (outdoors) was subject to weather conditions and as it happens (often up here) it is peeing it down so the shoot would have been off anyway. Now the last time the model logged on was the 28th, i have had no more contact from her on here and my latest reply to her from yesterday remains un-opened, i also text her yesterday and again i have had no reply at all. so would you blue face based on the fact had the weather been good i'd now be sitting here twiddling my thumbs or allow it to slide as it wouldnt have gone ahead anyway ? i guess she could have contacted me today safe in the knowledge it was probably off anyway |

| Kiboko Photographer  Location United Kingdom Surrey GUILDFORD | I personally wouldn't, I regularly have to cancel location shoots because of the weather and would hate to receive a blue face in those circumstances. I aways stress that any such shoot is weather dependant. Would always contact the model and confirm though, perhaps your model thought cancellation was obvious in the circumstances, you may even have said in cionversation that it wouldn't go ahead if the weather was bad. |

It is not polite to assume cancellation as, let's face it, unless she is stood next to you, she doesn't actually know what the weather is like, at you. Just yesterday going home (1.5miles) I went through three types of weather. | |

Just thinking, she may have felt she had all the information and (naively) assumed she didn't need to log on to check anything further, with the full intent of showing up as previously arranged. I wouldn't give a blue face in the circumstances you describe. |

She also has my contact details outwith purestorm, and my message of yesterday was enquiring that, all was still ok ? for todays shoot, (no response) |
