| jes Model Location United Kingdom Suffolk Lowestoft | The older you get, the more jobs will thin down . Sorry but this is a load of crap! There are plenty of requirements for all ages for other styles. It's not ALL about fashion and glamour...just because these might be the more high profile jobs. I've been published countless times but they might be in small brochures, for example and not very exciting, but it's paid work. These are being produced all the time for a huge variety of products. |

| livia79 Model Location United Kingdom Lancashire blackburn | I think older ladies/mature ladies only look daft if they really haven't looked after themselves and are wearing clothes that are too small for them etc etc I work in the charity sector with ladies of pensionable age Depending on how well they've looked after themselves, and how active they are in life, some really do look younger than their age,and there's no makeup involved, even the clothes they wear are really smart fashionable If a lady lets herself go, drinking smoking junk food no exercise then I think it shows on them and possibly ages them faster It's just my opinion, don't shoot me lol You JES look fiiiinnnnne.......! |

| tarmoo Photographer Location United Kingdom Kent Chatham | Most of the photographers who pay for models on this site a amateurs who do it as a hobby. Most are a lot older than the models they shoot. Some photographers may be a little intimidated at shooting young models and may be more comfortable shooting a model nearer to their own age. Some older models have very pleasant personalities and are a joy to work with. Others do appear to be a bit cranky and jaded and these are best avoided if you do photography as a hobby. Rates are now lower than they were a few years ago. So if a model has been quoting the same rates for a very long time they could be higher than what new models are quoting. The most frequently quoted rate for art nude I get is around £25/hr, but some long term models have rates a lot higher. Is it worth paying the extra for many years experience? The answer is no, as many new models with one year experience are just as good or better than many models with five or more years experience. Shooting older models can be a little disappointing. Sometimes older models are 4 to 10 years older than the age on their profile and look nothing like their profile images, which can be many years out of date and highly airbrushed. Selecting an older model to shoot is more risky. Not having any recent lightly edited photos on their profile which clearly show you what they look like would put me off. I hope to shoot a 33 year old model in a few weeks time who is still producing excellent photos after a long career in modelling. Many other models of similar age don't have up to date profiles and recent feedback. I only look at what a model has done in the last six months and will mark a model down if her profile has too many old photos and too few recent feedbacks. Some models many have been great a couple of years ago, but that is no reason to book them now. Newer models tend to have lots of recent images and feedback and good rates. |

I don't think many of mine are hugely airbrushed and I have plenty of recent images on there. I will also send unedited, home-taken photos if anyone wanted to see what I really looked like. |
