From what I see you are beautiful girl with a gorgeous figure but you don't look overly comfortable in many of your images and the processing in the majority of them is awful. I think it would be beneficial of you to go back to the start, work with people who inspire you and who you think will be able to capture you well without needing to use heavy handed editing. |

Not only does that show that you photograph very well, but it also shows that you have a good eye for a picture and that you exercise quality control over what goes into your portfolio. That inspires confidence. In contrast, when I see a 'professional', 'advanced' model with five years experience who thinks that such awful pics are portfolio worthy, I'm afrad that does not inspire confidence. I know you didn't mean anything nasty by it to the model or anything like that, just us girls are sensitive and I won't like those comments about my work, that's all (: Thank you for the kind comments on my port, I am very picky about what goes in!  x |

Well I find myself looking for a clearer indication of your figure - full length shots that do show your body line and legs would be very helpful, and without that, attractive as you are, I wouldn't be fully confident in booking, . What do I think of your Port? I think there is alot of samey glamour shots with similar expressions which you could filter down. You also have some poor quality images - I mean the photo - not you. They are obvious, and I wonder why you put them in. I would get rid. The memorable images to me are the one sitting on the steps, (but I'd rather the shoes were not yellow) and the portrait where you are screwing up your face a little. These are more contemporary and sophisticated - I'd aim to get a better balance between glamour and fashion/editorial and look for more edginess/attitude/expression in your shots. You seem to be able to do it well in a few samples shown. And try to get images of better technical and edited quality. As you are 'paid only' I would be looking for every image in your port to sing out to me. Nothing average should do. Good luck. NK |

| Pluckphotography Photographer  Location United Kingdom Essex Chelmsford | I agree with most of whats already been said, but judging by the blurb on your page you're getting a lot of regular work already! Why change anything??!! There is an argument for maintaining a '6 out of 10' portfolio so it doesnt intimidate photographers. No doubt there are a lot of photographers willing to pay your fees, but who are starting out or learning the ropes. If your portfolio was full of exceptional work they might assume you wouldnt want to work with them. I personally think your portfolio is massively underselling you, but (if the above theory is right) you might be getting plenty of bookings regardless. |
