| swchughes Photographer Location United Kingdom Surrey Thornton Heath | I am trying to find the examples I once knew about of photographers that specialise in creating complex scenes of people that would remind me of really old paintings. The style of paintings I am thinking of are: The Last Supper, or examples like this: So lots of people. Complex scene. Hi resolution. There are photographers that make scenes like that. Either recreating classics such as The Last Supper, or just creating new modern scenes in modern clothing. Can you show me examples of these photographers please? The closest I can find is: http://pinterest.com/pin/26247610298739589/ http://imention.org/caravaggio-live/ I was looking for more examples. Perhaps more people, or perhaps a street scene. Modern clothing even. I had seen a documentary on TV where a photographer was perched on some scaffolding shooting a street where the buildings on each side had various people posed in the windows. I recall the detail to which he was tweaking the image by moving a fire hydrant. Team of 20+ technical people and loads of actors. |

From that description I think you may be talking about a documentary on the work of Gregory Crewdson. |

| swchughes Photographer Location United Kingdom Surrey Thornton Heath | Brilliant! On the third look, I realised I could zoom in! So much going on. Thanks for this. I just got told of http://www.desireedolron.com/ The menu system baffles me! Only a few on topic photos, though none complex. |

| Crippen Photographer Location United Kingdom South Yorkshire Sheffield | You might like the Agent Provocateur adverts, shot by Tim Bret-Day a couple of years back. I couldn't find them (easily) on either the A.P. site or Mr. Bret-Day's, so I'd suggest Google images. But here's a good example of one... ![]() Dave |
