| Chandos Photographer Location United Kingdom Merseyside Liverpool | Well I met some of the people behind the development of the instrument. I fix some of their computers which were use for design and experiment, they also done work for me too. The initial workshop reminds me of the metalwork shop in school consisting of mainly old men in their 60s in white lab coat making some of the instrument, it didnt look very high tech but obviousely further refinement in controlled situation turn out the final product. The last week or so small crowd of people surround the entrance feeling very excited. |

| Phil_M Photographer  Location United Kingdom Greater Manchester Stockport | Seems now its been found, a few people are upset with the term "god particle". I've read a few grumbles online. Seems each time there is a gap in our understanding of something, religious people fill that gap with "god" as an explanation. As soon as a scientific explanation is found for something it seems to upset people. For me, anything that helps to diminish the need for religion can only be a good thing and take us one step further away from ignorance and the dark ages. |
