| photostore Photographer Location United Kingdom Fife fife /tayside/lothian, scotland | After a bit of research i'm thinking acrylics ? I know why some people are saying just buy one ? but its not about cost (i have bought five in the last week !) it is now about storage and convenience, double sided works good for me ! I don't even like backgrounds if i'm honest but this summer's weather convinced me i need an alternative to outdoors shooting, |

| ph_oto Photographer Location United Kingdom South Yorkshire Barnsley | Acrylics is certainly the way to go. If you have a local car paint supplier ask them for plastic primer. I used it a while ago to repaint the plastic moulded bumpers on a motor caravan and it never peeled or flaked, even when it was scraped on a low wall. Acrylic is usually fast drying and really needs spraying to get a good surface finish. |

| saracenhousestudio Studio Location United Kingdom Buckinghamshire Milton Keynes | I would not. In stead of painting it, paint the wall behind it, and in stead of gueing paper to it (which probaby would not work very well) buy the roll of paper, and use them separately. That gives you more options. J. I was going to ask the same, or buy a set of coloured gels, cheaper still :-) |

| N_A_Photography Photographer Location United Kingdom Norfolk Norwich | plexicoat is your best bet although some of the resins inside are acrylic they other components in the paint is what makes it really stick to flexi surfaces you the primer as it says on tin then on the colour if your doing 1k or 2k add a felxi component if you don't it will fall off. I would say best bet would be to do use a waterbase as it's got better staying power dont add a felxi component wait an hour until cured and don't move it (if using a booth) and then lacquer with a felxi component but that will then using a 1k 2k or lacquer will result with a shiny background so you would then need to add a mattifier to My opinion it's way to much hassle and will cost you about £200-300 quid to get done professionally Google creativitybackgrounds they have a 4 for the price of 3 offer |
