Welcome to the madness!

Advice?
Get some TF shoots booked with quality photographers in your area.
Stay safe by checking people out before agreeing to shoot with them.
Don't let yourself be pushed on levels.
Be reliable
Stay off the false tan.

Oh and enjoy it!

The digital camera is a great invention because it allows us to reminisce. Instantly.

+1 All sensible advice. You don't need to take a shaperone (or even a chaperone!) Look at references from other models - and then drop them a polite message asking if they actually meant what they said as sometimes they don't tell the whole truth in public!

Insisting on a chaperone will put off a lot of perfectly respectable talented photographers. By all means get someone to deliver you to, and collect you from, shoots - but do not expect them to be present during the shoot.

Amateur - happy to do TF with models with potential and enthusiasm. Website: www.mphodson.co.uk

Step away from the false tan, most photographers aren't fans at all. Work up, never down. Recognise the relevance of contacting other models direct to check references as mph suggests. Chaperones attending will limit your popularity, your choice, but I can't be bothered with a random handing around. Understand that modelling, if its to provide anything like a decent income, will take a great deal of time and effort and you'll be up against a large number of other competitors.
Stay safe, enjoy.

I agree 100% with the "false tan" comments. If we want you tanned we can do it inside the computer.

Go to ballet classes. It will do wonders for your posture.

Pick photographers who are prepared to explain things and direct you. Some photographers expect you to perform in front of the camera without giving you any direction. The greatest actors in the world still need to be directed.

In return listen to photographers. If I ask a model to move one centimetre I mean just one, not two.
