I am an amateur photographer who has over the last three years taken two part time photography courses and a Photoshop course, I have my own small home studio. Although I have always been interested in photography, over the last few years I have started studying seriously

I am working towards gaining an understanding of traditional techniques to recreate classic Hollywood glamour images using vintage lighting and medium format film cameras (hopefully progressing to large format) alongside digital equipment thus providing not only digital prints and cd but also the possibility of darkroom prints. As I would like to recreate Hollywood glamour images it would be helpful to work with models who would like to try to recreate the hair styles, clothing and makeup of the era but to begin with I am trying to get the lighting right. I am also interested in very early photographic processes and have produced a limited number of gum bichromate prints (they look a lot more flattering than they sound) I also intend to produce some salt prints. I appreciate that photo shoots are a two way process and that your time is valuable I am willing to work on any ideas, you as the model may have so we can work together to produce the images you require If you are interested in working with me please drop me a line If you have any questions then please don't hesitate to contact me, I look forward to discussing any ideas and concepts you may have.
