Had a fantastic day's tuition from Si yesterday. We covered far more than I'd have thought possible, all explained in a way that I found easy to absorb and recall.
I'm now looking at my own photography through different eyes, such was the quality and quantity of the information dispensed.
This was my first session and I have to say, the first of many.
Thank you Si, you're an educator par excellence.

Attended Si's course at The Camera Society this weekend - and can say without hesitation that I learned more in the two days than I have in the last two years. To anybody else who is as sceptical as I was as to the value of investing in training, it has opened more doors in my mind than any number of new lenses or lights ever could. Absolutely recommended.

I had a half day tuition with Si thanks to a very generous forum post.He took onboard my current level of knowledge and experience and asked me where i struggle on shoots and worked his tuition around helping me through those skills. His teaching style was relaxed but thorough, and he helped my understanding lots. I would recommend him as a coach to anybody who is serious about improving their skills.

I worked with Simon yesterday and had such a great time!
Unfortunately the weather wasn't on our side so we are planning another one for late next month.
I would recommend him and I obviously am planning to shoot with him again!
He also has some gorgeous animals thats always a PLUS!
:D

Had a brief introductory training session with Simon today. I always though the mark of a good teacher was the ability to know just how to get the penny to drop, and he has this ability. In a short space of time he was able to take me through some of the basics of composition in such a way that I was able to see how I might improve my photography. He is careful not to overload you with information and makes sure that you understand the information you are being presented with. Very relaxed and friendly chap to boot.
