Experience:
I've been into photography for over 30 years. Serious about fine art black and white nudes in the landscape in the past (exhibited in the US, published in Amateur Photographer in the UK). Now starting again seriously after a break due to career, children, and living in Ireland for 10 years. I'm now shooting and printing digitally.

What's in my portfolio?

Faces: beautiful faces, interesting faces.

Feral Nudes: this is my serious photography. Black and white female nudes in wild countryside. Maybe it’s because I spent my first few years running round the African bush naked, maybe I just like naked chicks on rocks. Mainly good friends or experienced models. Let me know if you are interested in shooting. I can't promise you won't get wet or cold, but it should also be fun.

Other Nudes: mainly studio work.

Chaperones: never had one when shooting nudes in deserted places. Been doing it quite a long time now, not about to start. No problem with having someone along to act as a lookout however.

Legal bits: I always need a model release. I will always pay you something in exchange for modelling, but it's unlikely to make you rich. I will also always need to see proof that you are over 18 before shooting (driving licence or passport), and I will take a photo of you holding the passport and the model release. I know this may sound ridiculous, but it's legally necessary nowdays.

Communication: I don't have broadband because I live in the middle of nowhere, so email works better for me than logging onto Modelmayhem once we are arranging a shoot. Once we have set a date for a shoot, I will also want to exchange mobile numbers so we don't have any travel problems on the morning of the shoot.

Hugh and I worked together in the Scottish Highlands. In addition to the challenges we expected, we encountered unexpected ones and still managed to have a lovely time and get some gorgeous photographs. Hugh is professional, respectful, interesting, and really knows his craft. Highly recommended!!

Just had a second fab shoot with Hugh! We went on a little adventure, it was wet and bloody cold but we got some great results and had fun finding cool little spots to shoot in- and he brought chocolate! :D
