*******ABOUT THE STUDIO*******

The studio is located on the first floor of a large industrial unit and is accessed by a flight of steps immediately to the front of the building. There are two parking spaces available opposite the front of the premises. Internally the studio is open plan with a total floor area covering 1,140 sq ft which is divided into two main shooting areas forming an 'L' shaped configuration. There are both female and male toilet facilities located with in the unit and also a large room suitable for changing and also fitted out for use as a make up area. Free tea and coffee making facilities etc are available on site.

The studio is available for hire to others at an hourly rate of £25 with a minimum hire period of 2 hours duration. Half day and full day hire is offered at the reduced rate of £20 per hour which is equal to £80 ( 4 hours ) and £160 ( 8 hours ) with additional hours in respect of these reduced rates being offered at a further £20 per hour.

The cost of studio hire also includes the use of all seven Elinchrom lighting units on site (5 X 400 and 2 X 600) along with associated accessories such as soft boxes including a 5ft octabox,umbrellas, snoots, grids and radio triggers etc. At present there are three vinyl backdrops installed on an Expan chain operated system. The use of the white,grey and black vinyl backdrops attracts no additional cost but in respect of Colorama backdrops a fee is levied of £6 per metre for any damaged paper.

For those not in possession of a digital SLR camera there is a full frame Canon 5D body along with Canon 'L' lenses available for an additional rate of £15 per hour which includes the use of an 8 GB compact flash card and all images taken can be burnt to a DVD on site at no additional charge.

For those new to the studio environment or those in need of assistance I will be available on site at all times. I am also available to give personal tuition in both lighting skills and image processing on a one to one basis for an hourly fee of £30 which is inclusive of studio costs and no further cost is due if for the purposes of tuition you are providing your own model.

Photography is my profession and as such I have a resume that speaks for itself. Shooting for many clients including various fashion labels such as Bellanina / Asos, Fashion Capital, Gadja, Anna Steele New Zealand and many more, my commercial work has taken me around the globe. I do undertake a wide array of photographic commissions both commercial and for private individuals but as is the case with anyone that strives to make a living from their full time occupation if you require my time I expect to be fairly compensated for it.

Nick is a great photographer and a lovely guy; he is always there to help you out if something goes pear-shaped - and he has rescued my nuts from the fire on more than one occasion! His studio is highly recommended. Lots of great, top-notch equipment and lots of space. He is on hand to help out with any problems, but also knows when to keep a low profile. Hope to work with him even more in the future!

Had a brilliant portrait refresher day with Nick and Ramenta. Ramenta was stunning and Nick was very friendly and helpful, guiding the day exactly to my requirements. I'd highly recommend White Horse for studio hire and/or tuition.
