Saturn Studios is owned and run by Andy Davies ARPS . The studio is situated just a short walk from Dewsbury Bus station and about half mile from the train station. It has a good workspace 1100 sq. ft approx. with toilet and dressing room. Boasting natural light during the day :) and the option of using the unit below for complete blackout if required Sets include: White Infinity wall 20ft wide 10ft high Public House Set Bed Set Garage/Workshop set with a working shutter and hoist. Barn set Black screen with fog machine Hi lite screen International flag wall Bowens 500 & Bessel 600 Heads Tea and Coffee as you want it and there is a great chicken diner at the end of the street should you feel the urge. Apple iMac & PC computers to view your images. £20 per hour minimum 2hours, Full day 10am-6pm £120 Open 7 days 10am-10pm Help is on hand if required Free Parking. I had a Studio Day yesterday at Andy's Studio in Dewsbury. I have been before and I already knew it was a great studio however he has added more new sets so it looked even better this time.

The Studio is so versatile with a Bar Set, Garage Set, Its own Motorbike, A Large White Backdrop, Pink Brick Wall, Barn Set, Bed Set and Black Backdrop.

Andy is very friendly and makes you feel at ease and is always on hand with a warm brew and keeps the heater on all day for you.

Lovely Studio Day, some great photographers and considering the weather was horrendous everyone managed to get there.

Success I would Say!

Hired the syudio to shoot a local model, where do I start with the studio.

It was great lots of different sets with good lights, Andy was on hand to make sure everythink went well.

Lots of T and coffee also nibbles

just wish I had hired the studio for longer.

I had my first shoot at Saturn Photographic Studios today and was absolutely blown away by the amazing set-up.
The photographer i was working with had hired the studio out for two hours but we immediately wished we had hired it out for alot longer as there is so much potential.
I felt spoilt for choice when it came to the different settings and the extensive collection of props available.

Andy was very attentive and made sure we always had a cup of coffee/tea on hand and also had some nibbles out too.

Andy definitely has the needs of both the photographers and the models in mind throughout the shoot. He made sure there was a heater on so we weren't cold, he had a lovely fluffy dressing gown available that i could wear inbetween outfits too.

Such a lovely, down to earth guy and i really hope to use his studio again.

In short, would i recommend both Andy and Saturn photographic Studios? Everytime!
