Comments:
My name's Laura Shipman, I'm a Nottingham based make up artist and hair stylist.
I started doing make up 3 years ago when I went to college to do my NVQ Level 3 Make Up Specialist qualification. Since that time I have been testing with a wide range of models and photographers to develop my portfolio.
I also have my Level 2 Hairdressing Diploma and attended a session styling course at the Academy Of Freelance Make Up in London to further develop those skills.


I am always looking to expand and improve my portfolio, so I am willing to conside TF if I think it will benefit me or if it leads to publication.

I am open to all ideas for shoots, the weirder and more elaborate the better. I love things that are unusual or potentially contreversial and enjoy any oppotunity to think outside the box or to try something new.

Good and prompt communications upto the shoot. She did an excellent job, worked fast, understood my needs and did a lovely 'makeover' with some stunning results.

Laura, is a really good MUA and great with our 1940's shoot. I would certainly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a talented MUA.
