Experience:
Hi folks, I'm based up on the North Wales coast and have been a photographer for around 8 years now. I specialise in location shoots, although I do have a basic portable/home studio; a couple of strobe units, reflectors and backdrops, which serve me well. Currently (Feb 2012 onwards) I'm working on a new project. I need models, both male and female, for a series of black and white landscape nude images. The idea behind the shoots is to depict the human body in harmony with it's natural surroundings. I would like the invite viewers to notice the person in the image, but not to make the nudity jump out at them, rather to see the the different aspects of the image (man and nature) as being totally harmonious. Some similar shots can be seen in my portfolio and I have. Please contact me if you would like to work with me on this. I am always happy to try and make time for other shoots if you have any ideas or would like to colaborate, however my current project takes priority at the moment. I generaly work TF, unless you really want to pay me ;) and for the right model, I can sometimes help towards travel expences. My main intrest these days is photographing people in the landscape, combining my two main intrests. I'm currently putting together a series of shoots around the Snowdonia National Park. My main aims are to depict figures in harmony with natural surroundings or to show them in contrast with man made elements in the environment. Had my first shoot with Chris on Thursday, it was on location and it was great fun and a challenge. I had my makeup dine for me, which was nice, great pre - shoot communication, outfit supplied, and trying to get into a derelict building was certainly a first, great fun and looking forward to working Chris again soon.
