50 years experience in photographic professional trade. I am very young at heart and ready for lots of new challenges! I have worked for some of Britain's top companies and also as a college lecturer in London.

Comments:
The work on this site is my nude art/glamour work,but that is not THE ONLY WORK I DO ! As a professional I do weddings, home portraits ,studio portfolios, fashion,and catalogue work ;anything that comes along. My motto is "it's not what I do,it's the way that I do it,that's what gets results!" I will happily talk to any model starting out and give good advice and training. I'm very understanding and hold teaching qualifications as well! When arranging a shoot with a model I have not worked with before ,in common with many other experienced photographers ,I will always ask that we have a chat over the phone.This cuts out time wasting,and any other misunderstandings.Also may I ask that under any circumstances DO NOT send me text messages! As a long standing member of this wonderful profession and one that has years of professional training I hold to my beliefs that only through technical perfection can one claim artistic rights. Hence my work will not have wonky angles,horizons not level,heavy side lighting ,verticals leaning, unbalanced compositions,and under exposed pulled super contrasty images . Models will not appear having just been beheaded,or about to commit an act of terrorism, or be shot feet first ! I work best ,if recent experience dictates ,with mature models .I am very interested in hearing from any one with latter day ambitions ,and I will fulfill your hopes for you ! My great inspiration is the late Yusuf Karsh of Ottawa ,but Lichfield ,Busselle ,Gerson ,have been influential too! All the best , Roger

Just finished a brilliant shoot with Roger. I can't recommend him enough, he's a lovely guy, a brilliant photographer and a fab teacher! Made me feel extremely comfortable throughout the shoot and gave me lots of advice.
The photos looked excellent on camera so i'm excited to see the finished copies :) Hope to work with you again Roger xx
