Shot at the studio as a client and with other togs a few times and always found it to be well equipped with lot's of great sets to work from. Some good props and lot's of space. Highly recommended to togs and models!

Finally shot together today and it was great. He's a very creative guy and also incredibly talented. We had an energetic and productive shoot and I really enjoyed it.

Firstly, my favourite shoot EVER! Great guy, great studio and great results.
We booked a 3 hour shoot and we shot for well over 5.
The time flew... I would highly recommend Karl and the studio.
Can't wait for the images and even more so to shoot again :)

Had a shoot last Wednesday at Hugger Studios and I have shot here a few times and really am impressed with and really like the studio, Karl always makes me feel really welcome and the studio is quite spacious.

I will hopefully return for another shoot soon as Karl wishes to shoot me in the new year.

The studio is also nice and warm in this cold winter weather whic I can't say for many studios out there.

This is one location where a photographer can spend a day shooting and have a different set up every hour without leaving the building.

Karl is always up for a challenge and two heads are better then one when bouncing ideas or concepts off one another.

The journey was worth it and I'm sure it won't the last visit to this studio.

Hugger is one the first studios I ever used and 3 years on I still look forward to going back every time
I can only add to my previous comments in that the studio is only getting bigger and better
The fact that it has a constant stream of photographers using it only emphasises this
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend - and with it being round the corner for me I can honestly say it is my most local studio and I love it when I am booked there

I used Hugger studio to hold a 1-2-1 training session with a customer who wanted to use a local studio. Karl was very helpful and I was confident that he knew his stuff and would look after us on the day. We were not disappointed, he is friendly, knowable and looks after his customers and models a like. The studio has a good range of lighting, props and setups and caters for all tastes and styles. It's a busy studio which to me is always a good sign, thanks again for looking after us on the day. Cheers John

I have worked at Hugger studios a couple of times now. There are many wonderful sets and a brilliant variety of lighting equipment. Karl is so welcoming and goes well out of his way to help out his photographers offering lots of advise and help with equipment. I highly recommend the studio to anyone.

Hugger must be the best equipped studio's in the North, it's a great space, always warm and the sets constantly change.
Karl is such a friendly person and nothing is too much trouble.
His advise if you need it is plentiful as are the cups of tea.

I have used the studio regularly over the years and after a short break I am back doing shoots there and also running regular group shoots. It has to be one of the best studios in the area and you could not wish to meet a friendlier or more helpful person than Karl.

Had a shoot with karl today. One of friendliest photographers iv worked with, great raw images I seen from the camera. Give great directions, tried lots of different things and had great fun as well as some good images. Would Love to work with you again and can't wait to see some of the images :)

What a fab guy Karl is! Had the pleasure of working at his studio and it is one of the ebst studios i have worked in. Karl is proffesional and an absoloute sweetie. Would highly recommend him to anyone and hope i get the chance to work at his studio againxx

Attended Hugger studios for a group shoot last week. Its great! Best Studio ive been to. Great choice of sets. The woods one looks interesting didnt get to use it but maybe next week. The bed sets really nice too.
Loved it that much im there next week with another photographer :D
And Carl Is lovely too.

Attended at Hugger studios today for the first time, had a good look around and worked with a couple of models on a group shoot, great place to work, plenty of space, nice and warm, lots of ideas for future shoots and our host was superb really enjoyed the day looking forward to attending there again the future. Recommended studio to all photographers and great hire rates too.

Had an amazing day today at Hugger studio Carl was really helpful as always and nothing is too much for him and he always make's sure the studio is heated which is always a massive plus. Plus he was ready with kettle in hand fr my early morning cup of tea.

I worked at hugger for the first time yesterday.
It was clean tidy and well presented, id definately reccomend it to any project.

We had a great shoot at Huggers, Karl as always helpful at all times. The studio offers so many different sets that you are just spoilt for choice.

I have used Hugger so many times now that I have lost count. Carl always welcomes you and his laid back approach puts any new photographer as ease immediately. When I have a problem Carl will always spend time helping me out and he gives me free advice on how to set up lighting and to take the type of shots I like. He is so patient as I think he would like to see a photo produced that he would be happy with. As always thank you Carl, I cannot recommend this enough.

Had a fantastic time with Karl when I had my shoot with him in February, he is a delight to work with and the studio set up is very good.

We used Hugger for a full day stills shoot yesterday. We found it comfortable and well-equipped, with an uncluttered layout that made it easy for us to quickly swap from one set to the next. The studio owner, Karl, was very friendly and helpful to us and to the models, appearing magically at the right instances with fresh cups of tea of and coffee. Like all the best studio owners, he was contantly ready to give assistance and was unobtrusive the rest of the time. On discovering I had forgotten one of my lenses, Karl cheerfully lent me one of his own for the day.

Have had my third shoot today at huggers and what can i say but brilliant carl is amazing with helpful advice when needed but leaves you to get on with the shoot and is just a shout away.he even left us the key for the urban studio when he had to go to an urgent meeting,not many studios will do that!! most definately my favourite studio and i have no hesitation in recomending the studio to models and togs!!

I did a shoot at Hugger yesterday, using the urban studio that has been set up. It's a great place to shoot, with lots of props and a few built sets in the room.
Karl also showed me around his usual studio, and again it's a good size, lots of shooting areas, equipment and props.
Hopefully I'll find myself at Hugger to shoot again soon.

I did a shoot with two female models, and it was shot by Carl Hugger. I found him completely approachably, friendly professional, and down to each. Although I had a rough idea of what I wanted from the shoot, Carl was extremely helpful in listening, and interpretating what I wanted from his imagery, and suggestions. He was very professional during the shoot, and put both myself and the other two female models at ease, so therefore we felt more able to get the shots I wanted. I would work with Carl again, and recommend others to do so also.

Last Saturday i had the priviledge to experience the excellent Hugger Studio, and in particular the urban studio. Karl was a perfect host, welcoming and with a great sense of humour.

I have just attended my first ever glamour shoot at the Hugger Studio and WOW the studio is amazin!! The sets, lighting and props are all very impressive. Hugger Studio is a really fun environment and I have too give a big shout out to Karl,, he is the most trust and loyal photographer that you will ever find. He is so wicked and friendly and tries his hardest to make the model feel relaxed,, welcome and focused.I love this guy a lot I find him so comfortable to work with and that is why I will be attending more shoots with him in the near future. The pictures on my profile Karl had taken are amazing so you can clearly see his work is amazing. I cannot believe I had the privilege to work with such an experienced photographer on my first ever glamour shoot!! He knows how to get an amazing range of shots and they come out beautifully.

Have worked at Huggres twice now with a lovely photogarpher John. Nice welcome to the studio and offered tea, coffee and noticed that the photographers were offered as much help setting up etc as they wished. Nice warm friendly owner with a great sence of humour. Excellent facilities, sets and most recently I hear they have added even more sets. The price for a studio of that quality is almost a crime. VERY CHEAP but everything you will need. Genuine feedback so I hope this helps new photographers x

Had my first shoot at Hugger on 24th Apr. Loads of great sets; loads of lights, both flash and continuous; warm and friendly with an endless supply of tea and coffee! All you could ask for in a studio. Karl is great guy too.

Had another great shoot today at HuggeR, with a photographer called Jon Howson. Karl is always pleasant and welcoming and I swear the facilities get better each time! Would recommend to anyone; looking forward to my next visit! Thanks!



Had a shoot with Karl and EmmaLouise25 last night. Brilliant, well equipped studio, and brilliant knowledgeable photographer to work with. New or experienced models; I would recommend this studio to all. The props and the sets are fantastic; its the type of place you could go to again and again, and never get bored, and always notice something new. I have used Hugger studio a number of times now. Although it is a long way for me to travel to from Kent, it is well worth the journey. It has the most friendly atmosphere of any studio I have used anywhere. Carl is so helpful and nothing is too much trouble. He is always on hand to help set up, or change sets and lighting, without being intrusive in any way. The studio has ever changing sets and is an interesting place to work. I have booked for another shoot already. Highly recommended. Thanks Carl for the constant supply of tea!

Used this studio today for a fashion shoot. It is an absolutely amazing studio, quite large with many, many different scenes and settings. I'm amazed I never knew about this studio before and hope that I can use it again in the future!!

I used Hugger studios for the first time recently, and I must say that I was very impressed with what I found. The studio is fresh and well laid out, and Carl very clearly has a passion to keep it that way and improve it still further over time.

Overall the studio was most impressive, and Carl was very friendly and helpful. An excellent studio, and well worth trying if you are ever in Sheffield.

Had a shoot today at Hugger studio's and absolutely loved every second of it, everyone was so nice and made me feel really welcome, and the studio had no end of creative props and sets to get artistic in. I cant wait to see the images and hopefully return for another shoot soon x

Went to do a shoot with Carl today at Hugger, another one! He is a great guy lots of charm and wit, a great Tog to work with, this was a little different as the BBC was there for a programme myself and Tonilou is in, so a little bit of pressure, Carl was a real proffessional and if you want fun, a great studio and coffee book him, highly recommended, thanks Carl, Melissa. xx

I had a shoot with Grant_D in the studio on Tuesday evening and it was great. The studio has everything you would need and the great thing about it is the sets change on a regular basis so there is always something different to do. Cant wait for my next shoot there

To really appreciate how big the studio is, you have to see it for yourself, you wont be disapointed.

I first met Carl at the start of this year in what was to be a one off visit to the studio. I have been so impressed with the studio and Carl's help that I can't keep away from the place. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

I worked at Hugger last month on a 4 hour shoot. They were a lovely chatty bunch who made me feel very welcome. The studio was clean and pleasant with a good variety of spaces to work in and good facilities. Recommended to models and photographers alike. x

Worked at the the studio for the first time on sunday was well equiped and spacious. It had several different sets which makes this studio stand out from the rest and you can tell the owner is always looking to furfil the clients needs. I especially liked the sofa set and looking forward to working there again next week! Highly recommended xx

Have used this studio twice now. It's a very relaxed setup and better than many studios I have been to. Two floors and multiple sets.. and Carl is always on hand to help but also gives you the privacy to shoot away as required.
The rates are great and I will use the studio regularly from now on.

Had a shoot with Hugger - Carl on Friday 31st October at the Hugger Studio's Sheffield. The shoot was great and Carl was friendly, he said that I would get a CD by the Tuesday after (Nov 4th) Which I didn't, I had chased him again via purestorm and on Wednesday 5th He replied, "I guess it takes 2-3 weeks to clean up the photos as I had many other photo shoots and I am still busy with them". The timescales 1st quoted were not true. I had then sent him an email to his personal email address with my address and details, again and then again to purestorm December 19th, my message was read, however I had no reply. This was a TFP shoot and as models know you are taking your time out to do a shoot and you are excited to see the finished product! but when you never get to see them, you feel dissapointed. It's now 4th January 2009, 2months later, 1 reply and no CD....

Did the make up for a portfolio shoot today. The studio is well laid out with a separate make up and dressing room. Carl is very professional and likeable and Vitalia made me feel very welcome, my experience at the studio was very pleasant and I look forward to working there again.

The shoot was both very enjoyable and professional. Would love to work with you again. Looking forward to the pictures! :)
